Liberal Arts Student Council

As webmaster for the Liberal Arts Student Council for 1 year, I rebuilt the site from scratch. A new masthead was designed to incorporate the Council logo. The Universitiy’s computer labs were still using version 4 browsers, so tables were used in this implementation to guarantee rendering on lab computers. A custom utility was designed to allow the Secretary’s position on Council to update the minutes taken at each meeting without knowing anything about web design. The site was also used as vehicle to make the Council’s Constitution public which was a University Requirement.

1. Logo 'C'

The 'C' from the Liberal Arts Student Council Logo

This is a detail of the 'C' that was taken from the logo for the Council. The logo was used on t-shirts, signage, and letters written by the Student Council. This element maintained a coherent visual identity between the website and the rest of the Council's visual identity.

2. Member Area

The Liberal Arts Student Council website had an area with specific information for Members of the Council, including minutes published from every meeting through a database driven web interface.
